NGO reps meet Speaker, highlight social initiatives | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A delegation from Kaimganj-based NGO Saahasi Balika Sanstha paid a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana in connection with social initiatives being carried out in the constituency of MLA Dr Surabhi. The delegation comprised office-bearers and members of the organisation.The NGO presented details of its ongoing programmes promoting girls’ education, women empowerment, health awareness, skill development, self-reliance, environmental conservation and uplift of underprivileged sections. The members also toured the Assembly and observed the proceedings. The Speaker appreciated the organisation’s efforts and extended his best wishes.
