He also referred to “drains falling into the Ganga river” and said Kanpur was defamed due to such issues. Yadav alleged that the BJP govt made the police corrupt and said, “In this govt, the situation is warm palm, soft police.” He said, “If the right environment is provided in Kanpur and proper rules are made, then investment can come on a large scale. When the Samajwadi govt comes, we will develop this region in the name of ‘Triangle Trade’ by combining Etawah, Kannauj and Kanpur. We will make a riverfront on the Ganga river in Lucknow better than Gomti. We will make a new Kanpur by better use of real estate. Lal Imli will be bustling again. We will work to support industry and textile,” said Yadav. He said that when BJP became weak, it started walking on the communal path. He alleged that the maximum fake encounters happened in the BJP govt and said the high court stated that delivering justice was the work of the judiciary, not the police. Yadav said the youth of the state were frustrated and disappointed. “The govt does not want to give jobs, employment. It is not giving jobs so that it doesn’t have to give reservation. BJP is anti-PDA. When Samajwadi Party govt is formed, we will accelerate development. We will take development forward. Through PDA, we are working to connect everyone. BJP discriminates.
