‘KGMU curing patients from other nations’ | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that advanced treatment and dedicated medical teams at KGMU are helping critically ill heart patients recover and return to normal life. Addressing the inaugural session of Cardicon 2026 at KGMU on Friday, he said patients from across Uttar Pradesh, other states, and even neighbouring countries are coming to KGMU for better cardiac care. Pathak highlighted the role of the Lari Cardiology department, stating that serious heart patients are treated successfully every day through modern techniques and specialist care. He added that the state govt is committed to strengthening healthcare services and will continue to support KGMU and its cardiology department. Pathak said healthcare facilities in UP are improving rapidly, with hospitals expanded, district hospitals upgraded, and medical colleges opened in every district. He also noted that robotic surgery and artificial intelligence are being promoted to improve treatment outcomes and speed up diagnosis and care.
