Regional passport office Lucknow to hold public grievance redressal camp on Feb 21 | Lucknow News
LUCKNOW: A public grievance redressal camp will be organized on Feb 21 at all four passport seva kendra operating under the regional passport office, Lucknow—these include the centers in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.During this camp, passport applicants can visit their nearest PSKs without any prior appointment and present their passport-related issues directly before the officials.“Citizens are requested to carry all documents related to their application. Bringing the required documents will help ensure quick and effective resolution of their concerns,” said Shubham Singh, RPO Lucknow.Further, sharing the report card for 2024–2025 while highlighting RPO Lucknow office achievements, RPO Shubham Singh said, “In 2024, a total of 7,33,686 passports and 70,636 police clearance certificates (PCC) were issued. In comparison, 2025 recorded 8,09,839 passports and 62,687 PCCs issued, along with other documents such as Apostilles, Global Entry Program approvals and Surrender Certificates.To improve accessibility, the Regional Passport Office has introduced several citizen-friendly initiatives. “Every Wednesday, applicants can meet passport officers under the meet your officer program. Additionally, through passport melas held in remote areas, services have been delivered across 1,650 applications, covering nearly 2,314 km and reaching multiple post offices and community centers,” Shubham said.A monthly grievance redressal camp is also conducted on the last Saturday of each month.
