Lucknow: The 3-day Fiesta 2026 concluded with the prize distribution ceremony of the inter-collegiate sports competition at Integral University on Saturday. The event was attended by UP cabinet minister for industrial development, export promotion, NRI and investment promotion, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, as chief guest.Nandi said, “The state govt’s development push under the strong leadership Prime Minister and chief minister, and UP is progressing from ‘Uttam Pradesh’ towards ‘Sarvottam Pradesh’.” He cited investor summits, infrastructure expansion and growing investment in education as key drivers of this transition.Emphasising quality education, he stated that a globally competitive education system was essential for sustainable growth and urged students to contribute to national development.University chancellor Prof Waseem Akhtar highlighted the role of value-based education, character building and social harmony, and a focus on research, innovation and employment-oriented learning.
