Mayor pulls up officials for Hq bldg delay | Lucknow News
Lucknow: During a surprise inspection of the under-construction Lucknow Municipal Corporation headquarters in Gomti Nagar on Friday, Mayor Sushma Kharakwal reprimanded officials for negligence and sought an explanation for the delay.She questioned why the petrol pump and a workshop, which obstructed the construction, were not yet shifted despite directions issued over a year back.
The Mayor pulled up chief engineer RR Manoj Prabhat and directed that the petrol pump be shifted immediately so that the construction work could proceed without further delay. Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar was present during the inspection. TNN
