Landscaping of Ram temple to end soon | Lucknow News
Presently, darshan of Ram Lalla takes place through a queue system, and devotees are allowed to spend only a few minutes in front of the idol.A volunteer deputed by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra said that a park with trees and plants is going to add to the beauty and would provide an option for devotees to spend some time in the compound after seeking the blessings. The landscaping work is ongoing over a 20-acre-wide area within the 70-acre campus at present. Through corporate social responsibility funds, the GMR Group is getting the work done.As the temple trust is planning to allow darshan of devotees within the sub-temples and to Kuber Tila and Angad Tila in the coming months, it is making preparations to alter the queue management system ahead of Ram Navami to facilitate the movement of devotees towards parkota. The agency and consultants working on establishing the park and green area planted only native trees and plants so that they are able to survive the extreme weather conditions persisting in the Awadh region during the summer and winter seasons. The pilgrim facility centre is also being readied to handle additional rush, with resources and space to store personal belongings of up to 25,000 visitors at a time.
