Pushpa Vaishnav re-elected president of women wing of Uttarakhand Mahaparishad | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Hira Bisht and Karuna Pandey were nominated as chief patron and patron respectively of the Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Women’s Wing on Sunday.Under the leadership of newly elected president Pushpa Vaishnav, the Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Women’s Wing is making commendable contributions in the cultural and social fields. The wing recently conducted various children’s competitions at the Uttarakhand Mahotsav.
During her 2 terms, Vaishnav took several beneficial decisions for the betterment of the wing and worked to promote cultural programmes in the state. This helped Vaishnav be re-elected as the president for the 3rd time, said Uttarakhand Mahaparishad convener Diwan Singh Adhikari. Sunita Kanwal was elected as senior vice president; Hema, Sita, Kamala, Meena, Renu, and Rajeshwari as vice presidents; Sunita Rawat as general secretary; Pushpa Gailakoti as secretary; Trilochni Rawat and Lakshmi Joshi as joint secretaries; Sunita Goswami, Hema Dobriyal, and Hema Kandpal as public relations secretaries; and Manju, Divya, Kalpana, Sushila, Deepa, Savita, Sonia, Renu, Hema, and Rekha were elected as new members.
