FIR after minor held captive, beaten up in Rajajipuram area | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A 17-year-old boy was allegedly abducted, tortured for five hours and threatened at gunpoint in Rajajipuram on New Year’s night, over an old colony dispute, police revealed on Sunday.The police said the victim earlier sided with the opposite party during a fight involving the accused, triggering the revenge attack.
According to an FIR lodged with the Talkatora police station, the minor was forced into a car around 2 am, stripped, beaten and terrorised with a pistol while a Rs5 lakh ransom was demanded. He was released near his home around 6 am. A video of the ordeal later surfaced online. A video of the incident surfaced, showing the victim being beaten and threatened inside a car, after which, taking cognisance of the matter, Lucknow police registered an FIR According to the complaint filed by the victim’s family, the boy was abducted around 2 am on Dec 31 from outside his house in Rajajipuram. The accused allegedly forced him into a car and took him to a deserted location, where they placed an illegal pistol to his head, stripped him and thrashed him mercilessly. The victim reportedly kept pleading for mercy with folded hands, but the assailants continued to assault and threaten him, as seen in the viral video.According to the FIR, he was held captive for nearly four to five hours and was allegedly asked to arrange Rs5 lakh from his family, failing which he was threatened with death. The boy was released around 6 am on Thursday and later returned home in a traumatised condition.The video shows the accused beating the boy inside the vehicle while pointing a pistol at him and forcibly removing his clothes.
