Ayodhya: The Samajwadi Party has appointed its senior leader from Ayodhya, Haji Feroz Khan Gabbar, as star campaigner for the Maharashtra Corporation Polls to be held on Jan 15. The Samajwadi Party has fielded its candidates for the elections for 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra along with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Gabbar is a popular Muslim leader in eastern Uttar Pradesh. He is likely to attract a sizeable number of Muslim voters residing in Maharashtra from eastern Uttar Pradesh.
