Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reviewed preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s visit to the state capital to inaugurate the newly constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal on Dec 25.In a meeting with heads of the home and housing departments, senior police officials, and the Lucknow divisional administration, the CM said the project, dedicated to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, would emerge as a powerful symbol of national consciousness, cultural heritage, and pride, inspiring future generations to imbibe the ideals of national unity, integral humanism, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The inauguration, being held on Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, should have foolproof security, the CM said, adding that all preparations, including security, traffic management, protocol, hospitality, and crowd control, should meet the highest standards. Reviewing ongoing works, the CM said all aspects of arrangements and project completion, including landscaping, gardens, the museum, the amphitheatre, and beautification of approach roads, should be completed at the earliest. Expecting nearly two lakh people from across the state to attend the event, he also reviewed arrangements for transport, parking layouts, bus routes, control rooms, and medical units, and directed that nodal officers be deployed for every bus cluster, parking zone, and entry gate. He also directed officials to implement multi-layered security arrangements along VVIP routes, at the helipad, the main venue, and public congregation areas. To ensure smooth traffic movement, he asked for the installation of clear signage for diversions, parking facilities, and pedestrian movement. He further instructed officials to ensure proper management of reception arrangements, cultural programmes, and all protocol-related components.
