Earlier, Sinha alleged that shiksha mitras were getting a meagre honorarium for their work, due to which more than 8,000 shiksha mitras died or ended their lives.The govt also announced that cashless treatment facility for unfunded teachers, shiksha mitras, and instructors would also be started.Leader of the House Keshav Prasad Maurya said that on Sept 5, 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the govt would provide cashless treatment facility to teachers and a budget of Rs 80.25 crore had been set aside for the purpose.BJP member Devendra Pratap Singh raised the issue of alleged irregularities in appointments at Siddharth Vishwavidyalaya in Kapilvastu. Singh sought details of appointments made in the psychology department and said that he had definite information that fraud occurred in these appointments.“Appointments have been made by taking money. Reservation rules have not been followed. Unqualified people have been recruited,” he alleged. In response, Maurya assured the House that the matter would be investigated.During the Zero Hour, Samajwadi Party members staged a walkout, unhappy with the response of the govt on several charges they raised about irregularities in the education sector.
