Kids captivate audience at school’s annual event | Lucknow News
Gorakhpur: UP minister Vijay Laxmi Gautam inaugurated the annual function of Scholars Senior Secondary School and Kidzee, Raghav Nagar in Deoria on Friday. The event showcased a vibrant blend of culture, creativity and youthful energy, reflecting the spirit of holistic education. School director Rajkumar Agarwal, deputy director Nikunj Agarwal and principal Sapna Kejriwal welcomed the guests. Students captivated the audience with a series of colourful cultural performances. Senior KG students presented a lively Koli dance based on the theme ‘from tradition to transition’ while Kidzee children delivered an engaging dance highlighting jungle conservation and the ill effects of fast food. A powerful Shiva Tandava performance infused the atmosphere with devotion. Prayer dances, salsa and folk dances added further charm to the evening. Addressing the gathering, the minister lauded the school’s efforts to balance academic excellence with cultural values, stating that such events help build confidence, leadership and stage presence among students. Rampur Karkhana MLA Surendra Chaurasia also addressed the audience. Meritorious students were felicitated for their academic achievements during the session.
