Amethi Med College to add 350 more beds | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The autonomous state medical college located in Tiloi tehsil of Amethi is set to expand into a 550-bed modern medical facility by the end of Jan 2026, an official spokesperson said on Thursday.“The project, being developed at a cost of around Rs 300 crore, is nearing completion and is expected to significantly strengthen medical services in Amethi and adjoining districts,” they said.Citing officials concerned, they said that at present, healthcare services are provided through a 200-bed hospital attached to the medical college. Officials said that a new 300-bed hospital along with a 50-bed critical care block will be handed over by the end of Jan 2026, taking the total bed capacity to 550.Medical college principal Dr Reena Sharma said healthcare services are being expanded in line with the state govt’s vision. PWD officials confirmed that while the main structure is complete, finishing work is currently underway.
