Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the preparations for Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami and instructed the officials to ensure that devotees have smooth ‘darshan’ during festivals.The CM also visited the Maa Vindhyavasini Temple in Mirzapur where he performed ‘aarti’ and offered prayers. He offered a red ‘chunari’ to the goddess and performed ‘parikrama’ of the temple.“The administration should ensure that devotees have smooth ‘darshan’ during Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami. Cleanliness in and around the temple premises should be maintained,” he said.From there, the CM went on to the Vindhyavasini Corridor and nearby stalls.The CM met the devotees and interacted with children. He asked children about their well-being and studies and advised them to limit mobile phone usage and distributed chocolates among them.‘Complete Vindhyavasini varsity work by May 31′Chief minister Yogi Adityanath also reviewed the ongoing construction work of the Maa Vindhyavasini University in Mirzapur and directed the officials concerned to complete the work by May 31.The CM inspected the academic and administrative blocks and directed officials to ensure that there were internal roads and provision of drinking water on the campus.“Introduce courses that not only focus on skill development but also connect youth with employment opportunities. This will benefit the youth of Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, and nearby regions,” the CM directed the university administration, warning against any negligence in construction work.The university administration has sent a requisition for the appointment of Group C employees for which the CM has directed immediate action.He planted a ‘maulshree’ sapling on the campus and instructed the administration to coordinate with the forest department to procure a large number of saplings during monsoon. He asked them to carry out a plantation drive in and around the university with the participation of teachers, students, and staff.
