20 women sportspersons, 40 entrepreneurs feted | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Twenty women sportspersons and 40 rural women entrepreneurs from different parts of the district were felicitated for their contributions to sports, business and women empowerment during a programme organised to mark International Women’s Day at Vikas Bhawan at Mirzapur on Friday.Officials of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) said the women honoured at the event have shown determination and leadership, inspiring others through their hard work and success in sports and entrepreneurship.
Officials from the district administration, NRLM representatives, members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and more than 40 family members of the awardees attended the programme and appreciated their achievements. The event was organised by Adani Foundation in collaboration with NRLM.Speakers also highlighted the role of Adani Foundation in supporting women-led initiatives and creating livelihood opportunities for rural women.
