Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Wednesday called the state budget a people-centric financial roadmap aimed at expanding healthcare services, improving transparency and enhancing quality across Uttar Pradesh.“The budget is dedicated to the prosperity of the state and the well-being of its citizens. Significant provisions were made to strengthen medical and family welfare infrastructure. We are committed to ensuring that every citizen of the state receives accessible, affordable and quality healthcare services,” he said. He said the budget provides for the expansion of health infrastructure, the availability of modern medical equipment and the appointment of specialist doctors to bridge gaps in service delivery. Allocations were also made for the establishment of new medical colleges and the expansion of medical education to meet the growing demand.“Our goal is to build a ‘Healthy State, Prosperous State’ where no citizen is deprived of timely and affordable medical care,” he added.
