CNG, PNG price cuts ahead of Republic-Day in UP’s 5 cities including Lucknow | Lucknow News
LUCKNOW: Green Gas Limited (GGL) has announced a reduction in the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG), offering a Republic Day benefit to its customers.The revised rates will benefit consumers in Lucknow, Agra, Unnao, Ayodhya, and Sultanpur.Effective from Monday, January 26, CNG prices have been reduced by ₹0.25 per kg in all operational cities. The new price is ₹95.75 per kg in Lucknow and Agra, and Rs 94 per kg in Unnao, Ayodhya, and Sultanpur.
Similarly, domestic PNG prices have been lowered by ₹0.50 per standard cubic metre (SCM), providing direct savings to households. Under the revised rates, PNG will now cost ₹56.50 per SCM in Lucknow and Agra, ₹56 per SCM in Unnao, and ₹57.50 per SCM in Ayodhya and Sultanpur.According to Praveen Singh, DGM (Marketing) and GA Head for Ayodhya and Sultanpur, the price cut will not only help reduce household expenses but will also encourage wider adoption of eco-friendly and sustainable fuel options.
