Anant Nagar plot registration till Jan 16: LDA | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority extended the online registration deadline for 637 residential plots in the Anant Nagar housing scheme till Jan 16 after receiving a strong public response.The decision to grant a four-day extension was announced on Tuesday by LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar.The Anant Nagar township on Mohan Road is being developed over 785 acres with a grid-based layout, wide roads and underground power lines. Around 130 acres is earmarked for parks and green spaces. A dedicated Edutech City is also planned within the scheme.In the first two phases, the LDA allotted 666 plots through a lottery system, which attracted over 22,000 applicants. The third phase includes 617 plots in Akash block and 20 plots in Adarsh block. Since registrations opened on Dec 20, 5,790 people have already applied.Plots in this phase are being offered in five categories: 41 plots of 450 square metres, 224 plots of 288 square metres, 225 plots of 200 square metres, 90 plots of 162 square metres and 57 plots of 112.5 square metres.Kumar said, “The extension was given in view of public interest, and registrations for other upcoming LDA schemes would be announced soon.”
