UP pitches med, research ecosystem in Hyd outreach | Lucknow News
Lucknow: To explore investment opportunities in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical research and sustainable industrial infrastructure, a high-level UP govt delegation led by chief minister’s advisor, Awnish Awasthi held meetings with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Aurore Life Science, Ramky Group and the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Hyderabad.The discussions highlighted investment-ready sites such as Lalitpur Pharma Park, Hathras Industrial Area, Bulandshahr and Sandila, with companies expressing interest in manufacturing facilities, research collaborations and infrastructure partnerships.
Aligned with the state govt’s aim of a $1trillion economy, the state emphasised its expanding medical education and research ecosystem, robust policy support and commitment to becoming a leading hub for life sciences and healthcare innovation.The delegation will continue its Hyderabad outreach with upcoming meetings involving the Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association of India (BDMAI), IKP Knowledge Park and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) to further strengthen industry partnerships.All companies and industry bodies have been invited to actively participate in the Pharma Conclave scheduled on Feb 3 in Lucknow.
