The state broadcaster would telecast the proceedings on television as they unfold at Ram temple from early Wednesday morning.Rajnath is expected to offer prayers to the idols of gods and goddesses that have been placed in the temples built over parkota wall and sapt mandap. A total of 14 temples have been constructed around Ram Lalla.Meanwhile, religious ceremonies were held at the Ram Temple with a lot of enthusiasm on Monday as part of the five-day long rituals that have been planned ahead of the second anniversary. The day commenced with prayers around the sacred fire (havan) and prayers at the yagyashala.Continuous discourses of Ramcharit Manas kept echoing in the background for the devotees. A group of women and men deputed by the temple trust took out a palki yatra in the temple and parts of the city, catering to the demand of local residents and shopkeepers who wanted to participate in the ceremonies.A two-dimensional Ram Lalla painting made in Thanjavur style was placed in the Ram temple compound on Monday. Bengaluru based artist Jayashree Phaneesh worked on the intricate painting for about nine months. The gold-plated painting studded with diamond stones and several other precious jewels had been placed near the Tulsidas temple.
