LU student council shares vision for ’25–26 | Lucknow News

Lucknow: The newly constituted Meritorious Student Council (MSC) 2025-26 of Lucknow University on Wednesday unveiled a student-oriented vision focused on improving campus life, strengthening dialogue with the administration, and addressing academic and infrastructural concerns.Participation, accountability, welfare, and academic enrichment will be the key priorities of MSC. The first official meeting of MSC will be held on Dec 18, where members will finalise the agenda, identify priority issues, and draft a structured plan of action.MSC president Ayushi Jaiswal said the council aims to function as a strong link between students and the university authorities.“The council will work as a bridge between students and the LU administration, ensuring that the concerns of student are heard. We want to increase participation in extracurricular activities,” she said.“Issues such as regular cleaning of toilets will be raised by the council,” Vice-president of MSC Shreya Verma said. Dean Students’ Welfare VK Sharma said, “MSC was created to give students a representative body that can genuinely act as the voice of students on campus and help build a responsive academic environment.”
